This committee assists the Board of Trustees in developing the Temple's strategic plan. The committee tries to identify potential problems or needs that the Temple community will face in the near future. Findings are presented to the Board on an annual basis for its review and disposition.
The committee accomplishes this through various activities such as formal data-gathering focus-group sessions, brainstorming sessions, key-person interviews, and research into techniques used by other congregations. This committee, which meets once a month, then produces recommendations for the Temple board to whom it reports.
